Dear Mr Hedges,
I’m writing to ask for your help in promoting a national first aid initiative that may be of interest to your constituents.
As part of the commitment of St. John Cymru-Wales to putting a first aider onto every street in Wales, we’ve launched our ‘Save a Life September’ campaign. We want to raise awareness of the importance of first aid in communities across Wales by organising FREE first aid sessions. These sessions, run at local centres and by our local Divisions, will aim to give people the basic first aid skills they might need in order to save a life.
Throughout September, we will be aiming to get as many people as possible onto the free courses in order for them to learn some essential life saving skills. So far six sessions have already been arranged in the West Glamorgan area with more expected. With your help in promoting these events, your constituents could be learning important, basic first aid that could one day help them to save the life of a loved one.
Full details including how to book places can be found at:
http://www.stjohnwales.co.uk/support-us/save-a-life-september/
You would be welcome to visit a session too and see your constituents learning, even brushing up your own first aid skills if you wish.
I hope we can count on your support and that you will have the opportunity to share this information with your constituents.
Yours faithfully,
St. John Cymru – Wales
