MIKE HEDGES AM SUPPORTS NATIONAL SAFEFUARDING WEEK

Mike Hedges said….  ‘ I welcome National Safeguarding Week; we all have a responsibility to ensure that people in care, education or in need of public services are treated with care, respect, and dignity at all times. Safeguarding means protecting people’s health, wellbeing and human rights, and enabling them to live free from harm, abuse and neglect. It’s fundamental to high-quality health, social care and quality of life. I would urge people to take part in various activities promoted by Swansea Council during National Safeguarding Week ( 14^th to 18^th November).
