MIKE HEDGES AM WELCOMES A 22% INCREASE IN THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS WITH AUTISM STUDYING AT SWANSEA UNIVERSITY

Speaking from his Morriston Office, Mike Hedges said… ‘The announcement that there has been a big increase in the number of students attending Swansea University who have Autism is great news. People with Autism and other conditions should be afforded exactly the same chances that other people have to access further education. It is right they are provided with extra support to help them through their studies.

I hope that people who are thinking of going into further education read this and take heart from this news.

Note
Swansea University announced a 22% increase in the number of students with Autism taking courses at the Uni.

Swansea University believe that the increase in students is due to their support services for people with autism –
