Mike Hedges urges residents not to forget foodbanks as people begin to enjoy freedom from COVID restrictions
Speaking from his Morriston Office, local Senedd Member Mike Hedges said… ‘Local Food banks across the Communities of Swansea East stood up and supported local communities throughout the pandemic and I urge people not to forget these organisations which stood by us when people needed support through the Pandemic.
Local food banks are now reporting low stocks of staple products like tinned food, biscuits, pasta and toiletries. I would ask that everyone think about food banks when they do the weekly shop and put a few items into their basket to pass on to their local foodbank. ‘
People can also drop items off to my office in Pleasant Street, Morriston.
